4 of Wands - Tarot

The 4 of Wands shows up when we have achieved something worth celebrating.  We have only just started our hard work, but here we have obtained something that validates our efforts and shows us that there is a reason and purpose to what we are doing.  We can visualize it like we are climbing a mountain, and this is our first plateau. We know we still have a long way to go, but from this vantage point we can see our effort is beginning to pay off.  

When we first began it might have seemed like our efforts were in vain.  All we could see was the forest around us.  Now we reach a point where we can see we have actually come a long way and it gives us a great sense of achievement to know if we can make it this far, we can keep going and know we will make it all the way to the top.

The 4 of Wands asks us to briefly rest here and enjoy this moment.  Soon enough there will be more work and energy that is needed to keep pushing forward, but for now its worth taking some time to appreciate being right here, right now.

Also worth noting, it is here in this moment where we are able to solidify and stabilize what we have achieved thus far. Rather than rushing to the next challenge, taking this time to fully integrate what we have accomplished will better prepare us for what comes next.
