The Fool - Tarot

The Fool is that part of ourselves that wants to live outside of what is normal and expected. There comes a point in our life when we yearn to live a life that is uniquely are own and The Fool is the one to show us that we can. The Fool teaches us that it is ok to embrace all that makes us different and weird and to create a life around the truth of who we really are. The Fool says it is time to take that risk. To plunge into the great unknown. To walk off the beaten path and create a life that no one has ever lived before. This will require us to be brave, to have faith, and let’s be honest, to be a little bit foolish.

Some of our greatest minds throughout history have been labeled as fools because they walked to the beat of a different drum. And it is because of their bravery to do so that our world has invention, art, science and so much more that would not exist if they had conformed and followed the crowd. It takes great strength to follow a Truth that everyone else condemns. Thank God they did because where would we be if they had not?

Now is the time to ask ourselves ‘what path do I want create’, not ‘what path do I want to follow’. Being and doing like everyone else will get us nowhere important. It’s time to now pave a pathway that no one has ever seen before. Ignore the judgement and criticism. Just because you appear to be a Fool, doesn’t mean that you are. This is just a projection of fear and envy of cowards who would not dare to take such a risk.

Where will this lead you? Who knows! Thats half the fun. A grand new adventure awaits you full of potential, possibility, challenge and triumph. So take the leap. Trust and have faith. Do what you have always wanted to do, and don’t look back. Whatever you leave behind could never survive where you are going anyways.
