The Magician - Tarot

Who do you want to be in this world?

What do you want to create?

The Magician is here to remind us of our infinite power and potential and to say that whatever we want to do or be in this world, we absolutely can. But first we must look at how we limit ourselves. In which ways do we hold ourselves back? What beliefs, truths, connections, habits, behaviors etc. stop us from fully living in our power? What doubts and fears prevent us from truly seeing our potential? The Magician says that our only limitation is ourselves, so how can we expand into our power instead of hiding from it?

Our magick comes from within and our ability to access this magick is all about the confidence and awareness that we have in ourselves to wield this power. All the tools are available to us, but until we realize that we are the source of power, not the tools themselves, we will never truly own and understand the magick that flows through us.

So much of our power and magick is determined by the parameters of truth that we work with in. Such simply things such as "I am' and 'I can' allow our magick to expand into its infinite potential. However, it can easily be limited by our beliefs of 'I am not' and 'I cannot'. The Magician comes up to bring awareness to the parameters we are working within in and to help us to expand beyond our limitations and into our full potential.

Another aspect of the Magician is to look at what we are using our power and magick for. Are we creating? Or destroying? Where does our motivation come from? What truths, beliefs, emotions, habits and behaviors are motivating the energy behind our power and magick? Our intentions will determine what is produced through our energy and so we are being asked to be aware of what we are binging though our magick and to take full responsibility for what we are creating or destroying. The cause and effect of our actions and choices ripple out into the world throughout all time and space. As we rise into our power and potential, we must also be aware of the impact it has. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility.

The Magician shows us that our reality is shaped through our conscious awareness. What we think and believe to be true will be what we inevitably create. The reality we experience is shaped through the parameters of our mind and the thoughts that we think. What we think becomes what we speak. And what we speak becomes what we act upon. Everything begins in the mind. The Magician is here to teach us of this incredible power that we have to both create and destroy the realities we exist within, not through the power and control that we have in the outside world, but through the power of our mind and how we think and focus the energy of our thoughts. What we believe to be true or not will be the reality we manifest.

Expanding upon this further, we are also reminded that we have the full power of the universe available to us. What is above, exists below. We are the infinite universe expressing itself and our potential is vast and limitless. Truly realizing this is what opens us up to seeing how powerful we really are. When we can fully open to this level of awareness and power, we will see that there are no limits, only possibilities.
