The Star - Tarot

Truth. Alignment. Hope. The Star brings us messages of wishes fulfilled and cosmic guidance. It is here to show us the beauty of the universe and the intricate part that we play with in it.

The Star is an easy card to like especially after the destruction of the Tower.  It comes as a welcome relief and a reassurance that the storm has indeed passed. It is the card of Hope restored because in this moment we have returned to our truth and have found reconnection with a part of our self that we had once lost.

The Star reminds us that we have a place here in this vast universe. That we have a unique destiny to fulfill in the evolution of humanity and the universal whole.  We may have tried to hide from this and that is why the Tower came to shake us awake. To show us we cannot forever live separate from our nature and from each other. The Star is the return to our nature and our destiny and now that we are here, we realize that this is always where we wanted to be. Only we couldn't really see that before.

In this place, we are becoming aware of the cosmic guidance that speaks to us through nature and we are aligning ourselves with where it guides us. This is why this is a card of Hope. Because from this vantage point we can clearly see the future we want to create and be a part of. We understand our personal and collective destiny and we are ready to build a beautiful future in alignment with the cosmic truth that guides us.

Often The Star is called the wish card. This is because we finally understand our truth and are aligned with this truth inside and out.  The universal energies now conspire to work with us to manifest our deepest desires that benefit ourselves as well as the greater whole. A lesson through the Star is that it is one thing to wish for what we want, but it's another thing to actually live up to energy required to be aligned with our wishes. This energy is our truth that is more than just a personal truth but rather a cosmic truth. It is the alignment with this energy that grants our wishes and allows us to actually enjoy the manifestations of our desires. Had we not come into this alignment, we could never really appreciate these gifts and chances are we would have squandered them.

The Star offers us this gift of hope and wishes fulfilled because we are now reconnected to universal energy and flow. Whatever we manifest in this energy with be a gift to ourselves and the whole universe. It is an energy that continually gives and nurtures the whole world. Where there is a give and a receive that is reciprocated in an open flow that is never ending. As we give, we receive. As we receive, we give. We water ourselves and we water others. Others water us and we all grow together. The Star is us being in this flow and connection and through this energy we are creating the most beautiful future here and now.

Overall, The Star is our sign from the Universe to let us know us know that not only is everything going to be ok, but things are going to turn out even better then we could have ever expected and it's all because we have returned to this cosmic truth.  A truth of love, unity, and oneness.  Where we can now build a future together that is reflective of all these energies. From here, hope becomes a tangible certainty.
